The Kibuli School of Nursing and Midwifery is a private not-for-profit health training institution started in May 2005. It is a brain child of Kibuli Muslim Hospital. Hajat Halimah Nanziri Mayanja, the principal of Kibuli School of Nursing and Midwifery, said the school envisions being a center of excellence in nursing training and operates with a mission of producing God-fearing professional nurses.

She said the nurses should be able to provide quality services to clients. “Although the school aims at educating a Muslim girl-child in nursing training, it also answered the boy-child out cry by training male nurse students,"  Mayanja said. She said the school has contributed to the development of human resources for health through training 301 nurses and midwives since inception with the first group qualifying in 2007.
